SHORT PAPER POSTER SESSION

The DESRIST 2008 poster session will be an interactive session. We recommend a poster sized A1 or A0, or about 27 inches x 40 inches (US). We will allot "pin-up" wall or easel space for your poster. Each space will be about 5-6 feet in length and will have a table and chair provided. There will not be wireless internet access (though we will have one hard-wire connection at the front of the poster room.)

Essentially the poster session operates a bit like a trade fair. Participants will visit you and your poster and discuss your work directly with you. Its best to prepare an "elevator pitch" to get the conversation started. An individual Q&A style discourse will automatically follow. If you haven't done one before, you will be surprised how effective these are. You will have a chance to personally share your work with a large number of individuals in a surprisingly short span of time.
